OASIS, on-line access to services, information and support, is a public service information system available on the Internet at www.oasis.gov.ie. It was developed by Comhairle which is the national information agency and comes under the aegis of my Department.

OASIS is based on an innovative approach to the presentation and delivery of user-friendly information on public services which is structured around key life events for an individual, such as the birth of a child, going into education, getting a job, moving house, relationships, retirement and bereavement. All information is available in both English and Irish and is compliant with web content accessibility guidelines.

The information content on the website is reviewed on a daily basis and is amended and updated as necessary. In addition, new material is added on a frequent basis.
