Vol. 561 No. 4

Written Answers. - Postal Services.

Seán Ryan

Question:

326 Mr. S. Ryan asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources if his attention has been drawn to the fact that it can take up to six months for An Post to repay the deposits of deceased persons, thereby impeding executors in the performance of their statutory duties; if he has satisfied himself at this time-scale; and if the necessary resources will be made available in the relevant sections to bring this matter to a successful conclusion. [4654/03]

This is a day-to-day matter for the board and management of An Post. I have no statutory function in the matter.
