Question:344 Ms B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Health and Children if he has plans to visit a hospital (details supplied) in County Dublin; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4312/03]

I understand that the Minister for Health and Children has visited St. Ita's Hospital, Portrane, County Dublin and it is his intention to visit the hospital again as soon as possible. I, as Minister of State with special responsibility for mental health and disability services, visited the hospital in July 2002 and arrangements have been made for a further visit by me on 11 March 2003.
