412 Mr. Crowe asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of hours of overtime logged by members of the Garda Special Branch for each of the past 15 years; the cost to the State of overtime logged by members of the Garda Special Branch for each of the past 15 years; the number of sick days taken by members of the Garda Special Branch for each of the past 15 years; and the number of Garda officers working in, or attached to, the Garda Special Branch in each of those years. Having consulted with the Garda authorities I have been informed that the information requested by the Deputy is not readily available and can only be obtained by the expenditure of a disproportionate amount of Garda time and resources.
