183 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason payment under the housing aid for the elderly scheme has not been made to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if payment will issue in this case. [5988/03]
As the Deputy will be aware, responsibility for the operation of the special housing aid scheme for the elderly, in Kilkenny, rests with the South Eastern Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply direct to him, as a matter of urgency.
