Seán Crowe

Question:

429 Mr. Crowe asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason for the delay in advertising for a speech therapist for Scoil Ard Mhuire. [7267/03]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 428 and 429 together.

The provision of health-related services, including speech and language therapy, to people with physical and/or sensory disabilities is a matter for the Eastern Regional Health Authority and the health boards in the first instance. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the regional chief executive officer of the Eastern Regional Health Authority with a request that he examine the matter and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.

Question No. 430 answered with Question No. 425.
