561 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Social and Family Affairs the names of persons from her constituency whom she has appointed to State boards; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [6950/03]
I propose to take Question Nos. 560 and 561 together.
The five statutory agencies operating under the aegis of my Department are the Pensions Board, the Combat Poverty Agency, Comhairle, the Social Welfare Tribunal and the Family Support Agency. Appointments to State boards are made on basis of qualifications and suitability of the individuals concerned. Records are not maintained in respect of the places of origin of such individuals.
