Question:208 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Education and Science if the school building project for Loreto College, Mullingar, County Westmeath, has been approved since the 1997-98 academic school year; if same is at stage 3 now; if his Department is completely happy with the plans submitted; if his attention has been drawn to the extreme urgency associated with this project in view of the fact that there are now 842 students in a school built to accommodate 650, that some of the buildings are not fit for the purpose for which they are required, and that there is no gym available for this large number of pupils; and if, in view of the foregoing verifiable facts, the project will be allowed to move to stage 4.
