322 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Education and Science when special tuition will be provided for a person (details supplied) who missed school in 2002 due to serious illness; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8050/03]

I am pleased to advise the Deputy that my Department has approved home tuition for the pupil in question.

A letter confirming this arrangement issued to the family on 14 March 2003.
