Vol. 563 No. 4

Written Answers - Departmental Appointments.

James Breen

Question:

512 Mr. J. Breen asked the Minister for Transport the number of people with disabilities who have been appointed to State boards in his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7775/03]

The question of whether an individual is disabled has not been a determining factor in appointments which have been made to the State boards under the aegis of my Department. However, appointment of people with disabilities have been made and will continue to be made to State boards. For example, one person has been appointed to the boards of CIE and Dublin Bus.
