Vol. 564 No. 1

Written Answers - School Transport.

John McGuinness

Question:

199 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Education and Science if the school transport arrangements are agreed for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny from their home to the special centre, Kells Road, Kilkenny; if the transport is available through the summer months as the centre is open; if an assistant will be provided; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8911/03]

Bus Éireann has advised my Department that the pupil can be facilitated with transport on the service to the school concerned. The service in question has an escort on board to supervise the pupils and operates for the full duration of the school year.
