Vol. 564 No. 1

Written Answers - Health Services.

John McGuinness

Question:

236 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children further to Parliamentary Question No. 148 of 28 November 2002, if the Midland Health Board will arrange respite on a two weekly basis in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Carlow; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8957/03]

As the Deputy is aware, responsibility for the provision of health services in this case rests with the Midland Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply direct to him as a matter of urgency.
