258 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if the correct folio has been allocated to a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath who was informed by letter dated 16 May 2001 that this particular folio was theirs; if same can now be confirmed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that the dealing number quoted by the Deputy refers to an application under section 49, that is, acquisition of title by virtue of long possession, of the Registration of Titles Act 1964 which was lodged on 3 November 2000. I am further informed by the Land Registry that when the lodging solicitor lodged the application with that office, the wrong folio reference was quoted on the application. I am also informed that this matter was subsequently resolved and the property concerned was identified as folio 15761 County Westmeath. I inform the Deputy that this dealing concerned was completed on 23 October 2001.
