Vol. 564 No. 1

Written Answers - Local Authority Housing.

Gerard Murphy

Question:

302 Mr. Murphy asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the reason for the delay in providing funding for a housing development (details supplied) in Freemont, Charleville, County Cork. [8951/03]

A grant of €1,046,446 has been approved in this case. Payment to the housing association is a matter for Cork County Council – North – which is responsible for administering the voluntary housing scheme in the area. The council has indicated that certain essential matters remain to be finalised. Following their completion, payment of the grant due may be claimed.
