171 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Education and Science the position in relation to a request for additional accommodation by St. Brigid's national school; if he will take steps to ensure that same is provided; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9639/03]
I take it that the Deputy is referring to Scoil Naomh Bhríde, Emper, Ballynacargy, County Westmeath, R.N. 00941D.
My Department's primary building unit has no record of receiving an application for additional accommodation from Scoil Naomh Bhríde, Emper. However, I am pleased to inform the Deputy that the school in question has been included in the 2003 school building programme to have mechanical and electrical works carried out.
