Question:226 Ms O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Education and Science with reference to a letter sent to the chairpersons-principals of all primary schools in November 2001 by his predecessor concerning the transfer of responsibility for caretaking and secretarial services from FÁS, if consultants have been appointed to examine and advise on transitional arrangements; the difficulties which have been identified in this regard; the measures which have been taken to address these difficulties; the proportion of the ?2.5 million set aside for this purpose which has been spent; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
