256 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be called for a barium meal x-ray procedure, in view of the fact that they were told five months ago that they needed this procedure. [9549/03]

The provision of medical services in this case is the responsibility of the Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position and to reply directly to the Deputy.
