277 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Health and Children if recent pay increases to employees of the Health Service Agency apply to retired radiographers prior to 1 April 2000; if not, his plans to review this matter; the number of pensioners who will not receive an increase in their pensions as a result of these changes; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I presume the Deputy is referring to pay increases for radiographers recommended by the expert group on radiography grades. Pensions issues arising are under review by my Department at present and I will communicate directly with the Deputy as soon as the review has been completed.
