Question:155 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when balancing payments under the slaughter special beef and national envelope schemes will be awarded to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick. [10147/03]
Written Answers. - Grant Payments.
Advance payments have issued to the person named in respect of 73 animals under the slaughter premium scheme 2002. In addition advance payment of national envelope top-up has issued in respect of 22 heifers out of the 73 ani mals qualifying for slaughter premium. Advance payment in respect of 69 animals issued under the special beef premium scheme. All advance payments were at an 80% level. Balancing payments are expected to commence later this month when the regional quota overshoot for the special beef premium scheme in Ireland is finally established.
