Vol. 565 No. 1

Written Answers. - Harbour Authorities.

Brian O'Shea

Question:

211 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources if he will provide a copy of the terms of arbitration in the case of persons (details supplied) in County Waterford; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10280/03]

The Port of Waterford Company is statutorily responsible under the Harbours Act 1996 for the management, control, operation and development of the company as a commercial State port company. I sought a report from the port company on the issues raised and I am informed that the port company had no involvement in the arbitration process referred to by the Deputy. Accordingly, I am not in a position to provide a copy of the terms of the arbitration in this instance.
