Jimmy Deenihan

Question:

222 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Health and Children if the Southern Health Board will arrange an MRI scan for a person (details supplied) in County Kerry which was promised in October 2002 and not provided; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10277/03]

The provision of hospital services for persons resident in County Kerry is a matter for the Southern Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter and to reply directly to the Deputy.
