Question:

75 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs further to Parliamentary Question No. 128 of 9 April 2003, if he will provide details of all foreign military aircraft which landed here other than at Shannon, for each of the past six months; the details of the airport concerned; the dates of each such landing; and the nationality of each aircraft. [11249/03]

During the period between 1 October 2002 and 14 April 2003, a limited number of foreign military aircraft landed at Casement Aerodrome, Baldonnel, and at Dublin Airport, as well as at Shannon. All but one of the foreign military aircraft landing in Baldonnel during this period were from the UK, with the remaining aircraft being from Germany. The statistics for each individual month are as follows:

Foreign military aircraft landing in Dublin, most of which were VIP transports, were from Canada, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Italy, Mexico, Romania, Turkey, the US and Yugoslavia. The numbers of landings for each individual month are as follows:
