76 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Education and Science further to Parliamentary Question No. 197 of 9 April 2003, if he will answer the question regarding his proposals to facilitate the enrolment of the special needs child. [11156/03]
The programme published on my Department's website is designed to give the maximum amount of information to managers, boards of management, principals, parents and students and to give an assurance that it is being operated in an open and transparent manner. Detailed information has been provided in the programme regarding the status of projects and section 1 provides a cost summary on how funding is to be expended. It should be clear to the Deputy, therefore, that the budgetary allocation for 2004 and subsequent years will determine the rate of progress on applications and projects that could not be included in this year's programme.
