Vol. 565 No. 4

Written Answers. - Respite Services.

Finian McGrath

Question:

130 Mr. F. McGrath asked the Minister for Health and Children, further to a meeting on a case (details supplied), if he will ensure that the family get respite care as soon as possible. [11166/03]

Responsibility for the provision of services to parents of children with an intellectual disability and those with autism in the Dublin area is a matter for the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has therefore asked the regional chief executive officer of the authority to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.
