479 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason for the delay in an appointment for a hearing aid for a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon; when this person will be called for this appointment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11883/03]

Responsibility for the provision of audiology services for eligible persons in County Roscommon rests with the Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
