485 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) in County Sligo will have a bypass operation in Beaumont Hospital on 13 May 2003 in view of the fact that treatment has been rescheduled on numerous occasions; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Responsibility for the provision of health services for persons residing in County Sligo rests with the North Western Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
