307 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) in County Sligo will be called for a hearing test in view of the fact that medical certification has been submitted; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13454/03]

Responsibility for the provision of audiology services to eligible persons in County Sligo rests with the North-Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
