351 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children if the transfer of a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath will be facilitated from Tullamore General Hospital to St. Vincent's Hospital, Athlone; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14595/03]

As the Deputy will be aware, responsibility for provision of health services in the Offaly area rests with the Midland Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply direct to him, as a matter of urgency.
