Vol. 567 No. 5

Written Answers. - Garda Stations.

Billy Timmins

Question:

394 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the position on securing temporary premises to house gardaí in Ashford village who service the surrounds and Glenealy; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14604/03]

I understand from the Garda authorities that the Office of Public Works is pursuing, as a matter of urgency, the question of relocating the gardaí in Ashford to temporary accommodation which has been identified in the town. The move will take place as soon as suitable accommodation has been secured and any necessary modifications have been made to it by that office.
