Question:

224 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the position regarding the application by Athy UDC for funding for the refurbishment of housing at Townspark-Castle Park, Carbery Park, Athy, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14918/03]

Carbery Park-Townspark Athy, was designated for funding under my Department's remedial works scheme in May 2001. Preliminary estimated costing and plans for the refurbishment work to the houses in the estate have been received from Athy Town Council. In order to give further consideration to these proposals, the council has been requested to submit additional information on the proposed refurbishment works. A reminder on the matter has recently issued to the council.

Question No. 225 answered with Question No. 223.
