Question:229 Mr. Cuffe asked the Minister for Defence the total cost of projects announced or promised by Ministers of the last Government between 1 January 2002 and 17 May 2002. [15299/03]

In so far as my Department is concerned the only projects announced or promised during the period in question related to the 2002 capital building programme. In reply to Questions Nos. 88 and 122 on 13 February 2002, I set out details of proposed projects with a total estimated cost of €35 million.
