Vol. 568 No. 1

Written Answers. - Speech Therapy Service.

Charlie O'Connor

Question:

481 Mr. O'Connor asked the Minister for Health and Children if action will be taken to provide speech therapy at Killinarden, Dublin 24; if his attention has been drawn to the concern of many in the matter; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15172/03]

The provision of health related services, including speech and language therapy, for people with physical and/or sensory disabilities is a matter for the ERHA and the health boards. The Deputy's question has been referred to the authority's chief executive officer with a request that he examine the matter and reply directly to him as a matter of urgency.
