Vol. 568 No. 1

Written Answers. - Home Help Scheme.

Michael Ring

Question:

480 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children the way in which the Western Health Board could take ten hours home help per month from a person (details supplied) in County Mayo in view of the fact that this person is wheelchair bound. [15169/03]

The provision of health related services, including home support services, for people with physical and-or sensory disabilities is a matter for the Eastern Regional Health Authority and the health boards. The Deputy's question has been referred to the board's chief executive officer with a request that she examine the matter and reply directly to him as a matter of urgency.
