510 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children the reasons for the delay in arranging an operation for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny at Ardkeen Hospital, Waterford; and if the knee operation required will be expedited. [15328/03]

The provision of services for people living in County Kilkenny is a matter for the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply directly to him.
