537 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon will receive a hearing aid which they applied for 15 months ago; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15471/03]

Responsibility for the provision of audiology services to eligible persons in County Roscommon rests with the Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
