Vol. 568 No. 1

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Róisín Shortall

Question:

582 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason no appointment date has been offered to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 11; if the level of service detailed in correspondence is typical of the way in which children are treated in the hospital system; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15784/03]

Responsibility for the provision of health services to persons residing in counties Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has, therefore, asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to her directly.
