656 Mr. Crowe asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the reason there is a delay in the appointment of a co-ordinator for the Cabra police forum, which has yet to be established even though it has gone through the necessary process to be set up. [15330/03]

Arrangements are being made with the Garda authorities to enable interim funding to be provided for the pilot community policing project in accordance with approved procedures. I expect that these arrangements will be completed in the near future.
