Vol. 568 No. 1

Written Answers. - Legal Status Application.

Pat Breen

Question:

686 Mr. P. Breen asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when the decision will be made in relation to a person (details supplied) in County Clare who applied for legal status now that all the documentation has been forwarded to his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15893/03]

The person in question has made an application for permission to remain in the State based on marriage to an Irish citizen. All the supporting documentation requested by my Department has not yet been received. A further request for the outstanding documentation will issue to the person's new address as provided by the Deputy. On receipt of same, the application will be finalised.
