My Department has responsibility for the administration of the scheme of community support for older people which provides funding for initiatives to improve the security and social support of vulnerable older people. The organisation referred to by the Deputy received a grant of €28,809 under the 2002 scheme. The organisation's details will be kept on a mailing list for the 2003 scheme, when it is advertised in July.
