Vol. 568 No. 3

Written Answers. - Naturalisation Certificates.

Mary Upton

Question:

105 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the position regarding an application for naturalisation by a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12. [16324/03]

An application for a certificate of naturalisation from the person referred to by the Deputy was received in my Department in September 2001. Having considered the application under the provisions of the Irish Nationality and Citizenship Acts 1956 and 1986, I decided not to grant a certificate of naturalisation. The person referred to was informed of my decision by letter on the 30 December 2002.
