The functions of the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government in relation to the confirmation of compulsory purchase orders were transferred to An Bord Pleanála under the Planning and Development Act 2000, with effect from 1 January 2001. My Department is not aware of a compulsory purchase order in respect of any such property being submitted for confirmation prior to that date.
