Seán Crowe

Question:

74 Mr. Crowe asked the Minister for Finance the amount spent by the State every year to pay ground rents. [17270/03]

The Commissioners of Public Works pay approximately €11,000 per annum on foot of burdens on State property. These burdens include easements, fee farm grants, wayleaves, etc., as well as ground rents. The amount that relates specifically to ground rents is not readily available.
