Question:388 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) in County Sligo will have a bypass operation in the Beaumont Hospital; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18387/03]

Responsibility for the provision of health services to persons residing in County Sligo rests with the North-Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the case referred to by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
