Question:

222 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the EU directives relevant to his Department which are awaiting implementation; the nature of the directives; when each was passed by the Council of Ministers; the date for implementation; if the Government sought a derogation; and if he will meet the deadline as required. [23340/03]

There are no directives for which my Department is responsible whose implementation is overdue. Directives awaiting implementation are set out in the following table. No derogations have been sought in respect of any of the directives listed. I intend to have the directives implemented by the due date.
