224 Ms B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason for the delay in payment of headage grant to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and when it is proposed to issue payment. [23463/03]

The 2003 area aid application of the person named has been fully processed with an area determined for payment purposes of 3.52 hectares. Payment of the full entitlement under the 2003 area based compensatory allowance scheme will be made shortly.
