293 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Education and Science the reason a person (details supplied) in Dublin 9, employed in a school, has been denied incremental credits in respect of prior service with a semi-State organisation, namely the ESB. [23157/03]
The criterion for the award of incremental credit in the school in question is in accordance with the rules that apply in the local authority sector. In the case referred to by the Deputy a further letter has been received from the school. My Department is currently re-examining this case and the school will be advised of the outcome in due course.
