308 Mr. Cregan asked the Minister for Education and Science if moneys will be made available to purchase a site in 2004 to allow the amalgamation of two national schools (details supplied) in County Kilkenny to proceed; and if he will make a statement on the progress to date on this matter. My Department is not yet aware of the 2004 budgetary allocation for school buildings so it is not possible at this stage to say what sites will be purchased in 2004.
