373 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Health and Children when a decision will be made in relation to an application for domiciliary care allowance for a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23202/03]
The assessment of entitlement to the domiciliary care allowance, including the appeals process, in any individual case is a matter for the relevant health board. My Department has therefore asked the regional chief executive officer, Eastern Regional Health Authority, to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply directly to him.
