417 Mr. P. Breen asked the Minister for Transport if he will give consideration to the recent submission of a company (details supplied) on a proposed new rail link from Shannon Airport linking Ennis and Limerick; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23165/03]

I have recently received the company's submission regarding the proposal for a new rail link to Shannon Airport. In order to explore the concept further I intend to meet with representatives of the company in the near future.
