Higgins asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources his plans to consent to the lease agreement reached by Sligo Harbour Commissioners and the Sligo Port and Warehouse Company regarding the former Irish County Meats property at Deepwater Quay, Sligo; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has sought the advice of the Office of the Chief State Solicitor on certain matters concerning the proposed lease. That advice is currently being awaited.
